Easy Instructions
Apply your iron-on pearl or rhinestone patches easily at home by following these simple steps.
How to Apply
-
Prepare the garment
Ensure the fabric is clean and freshly washed (including new garments). -
Set the iron
Use the COTTON setting and allow the iron to fully heat. Do not use steam. -
Pre-iron the area
Smooth and warm the area where the patch will be placed. -
Position the patch
Place the patch with pearls or rhinestones facing up. You may secure it with heat-resistant tape or pins from the reverse side. -
Apply heat (reverse side only)
Turn the garment inside out and apply firm pressure using slow circular motions for 30 seconds. -
Cool and check
Allow to cool for 1 minute. If edges lift, repeat the heating process. -
Reinforce (recommended)
Add a few stitches for extra durability, especially for frequent wear.
Important Notes
- ✔ Always iron from the reverse side to avoid damaging pearls or rhinestones
- ✔ Do not apply to heat-sensitive fabrics such as nylon, vinyl, or delicate leather
- ✔ For best results, use on flat, stable surfaces
- ✔ Thicker fabrics like denim may require additional heat and stitching
Aftercare
- ✔ Hand wash in cold water
- ✔ Use mild detergents only
- ✔ Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals
- ✔ Air dry only
Additional Tips
- ✔ Fluffy fabrics can be used, but stitching is recommended for better hold
- ✔ Patches can also be applied to items like gift boxes, notebooks, and cards using adhesive glue
- ✔ Apply firm pressure and lift the iron between movements to prevent shifting
